Tottenham: Although Tottenham are having a good season in the Premier League, things in Europe didn’t go their way in their first-leg clash vs. AC Milan, losing 1-0 to the Rossoneri.

Unlike last season, when AC Milan become the Serie A champions, they are offering a way poorer image this term, sitting fifth with 47 points, tied to AS Roma and only one point behind third-placed Lazio, although league leaders Napoli have grabbed 18 more points than Stefano Pioli’s squad.

Their four-game winning streak in the league came to an end last weekend when they lost to Fiorentina (2-1) and they have only won two games from their last eight away from home in all competitions.

However, AC Milan have only been eliminated three times from their last 21 Champions League knockout clashes when coming out on top in the first leg.
